Slaughter pork delivered in Ulm comes almost exclusively from a catchment region of approx. 80 km around Ulm. For large cattle, our catchment area extends to the whole of southern Germany, including the regions of Bavaria with large cattle volumes. Suppliers are producer groups, livestock processing cooperatives, livestock centres, private livestock trading companies and larger farmers.
With a view to securing the raw material base, for quality control and for the continuous utilisation of our capacities, we endeavour to arrange procurement of our slaughter animals via so-called delivery and purchase contracts.
